Cybersecurity firm Resecurity has joined the Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center as a member organization, the group announced July 27, expanding threat intelligence capabilities for the space sector’s primary security clearinghouse.
Resecurity will contribute its external attack surface management and threat intelligence monitoring tools to the Space ISAC member network. The company’s platform provides early warning metrics on nation-state activity and cybercriminal targeting by monitoring surface, deep and dark web environments.
Key capabilities include tracking exposed ground network nodes and satellite control interfaces, gathering intelligence on advanced persistent threat groups targeting space technology supply chains, and dark web monitoring for ground station and orbital telemetry link risks.
Space ISAC, headquartered at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, serves as the all-threats security information clearinghouse for public and private space entities. The organization activated its Operational Watch Center to provide continuous threat monitoring and incident response coordination across the sector.
Resecurity CEO Shawn Loveland said the space industry faces increasingly sophisticated targeting by nation-state actors and cybercriminal groups seeking to disrupt critical services or compromise sensitive technologies. Space ISAC Executive Director Erin Miller said the partnership will strengthen the collective ability to respond to evolving cyber threats facing the space community.
The partnership will integrate joint threat analysis pipelines and operational training exercises, sharing actionable indicators of compromise through the Space ISAC Watch Center to improve real-time threat response across commercial satellite constellations and defense networks.
